Activities done by BERS:
During May 2007 – March 2008
- Celebrated environment day at Himgiri apartment on June 05, 2007.
- Organized a one day workshop on “Energy Security and climate change” at IIT Delhi on October 10, 2007.
- Design and installation of hybrid photovoltaic thermal (PV/T) solar water heater and distillation units at Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET), Ghaziabad (U.P.).
- Research work on renewable technologies at Solar Energy Park, IIT Delhi and based on that research work three papers are communicated in International Journals.
- Working on a project funded by Ministry of Food Processing Industries in collaboration with a NGO named, Energy Research Application, Gurgaon.

Design of an energy efficient BERS complex in Varanasi, U.P. which includes:
- Trombe wall
- Day lighting concept
- Earth-air heat exchanger
- Water heating system
- Rain water harvesting
- PV integrated roof
- Ventilation
- Underground basement, etc.
